Aged Services Quality Advisory Forum
The Grampians Health Aged Services Quality Advisory Forum provides an opportunity for people accessing our aged services to provide valuable feedback about the quality of care and services we deliver.
We believe that residents, clients, and their representatives are best suited to identify challenges, suggest improvements, and advocate for the needs of the community we care for. Importantly, the Forum gives feedback to our Aged Services leadership, executive and Board, that will be considered in organisational decision making.
Purpose
The Forum helps build a person-centred culture committed to co-designing services. It is formed annually and meets at least four times in every 12-month period. Members join for 12 months with the possibility of an extended tenure.
The purpose of the Forum is to:
- offer insights and perspectives from a lived experience and/or cultural perspective, on the quality of our care and services
- share ideas and provide advice based on experiences within our aged services
- identify opportunities and changes that may need to occur
- provide reflective feedback on proposed solutions and priorities
- engage in collaborative discussions with fellow Forum members, invited stakeholders and Grampians Health team members, on strategic priorities and matters that will shape the future of our Aged Services programs.
The Forum is supported by Grampians Health’s Quality team and relevant Aged Services team members.
