Patient transport for Cancer Services

The BRICC Transport Service is a volunteer service and is available to eligible patients requiring transport to and from BRICC for either consultations or treatment.

Where can I go?

You may be eligible for transport assistance for:

  • consultations in BRICC
  • radiation treatment in BRICC
  • chemotherapy treatment in BRICC
  • allied health consultation

Monday - Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm

Provision of the service is dependent on volunteer and vehicle availability and while every effort is made, it is not guaranteed that all requests can be accommodated.

Eligibility

  • you live under 100km from BRICC
  • you have no other transport options available including friends and family
  • you are unable to access public transport
  • your normal transport to BRICC is not going to be available
  • you can get in and out of a car independently
  • you can walk a short distance from the car to BRICC independently
