Simvan

Grampians Health’s SimVan provides simulation-based education, offering a realistic learning experience without the risk of consequences or mistakes.

What we do

Simulation-based education is a technique that enhances real-life experiences with guided ones.  It helps to develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes.

The SimVan has been an essential part of our education training since its first simulation event in 2013. It provides simulation-based education to health services and community organisations across the Grampians region, who are otherwise isolated from such training due to distance and cost.

White van parked near a lake with colorful square graphics on the side forming a map-like design. Text on the van reads: 'Mobile integrated learning environment. Driving Clinical Simulation in the Grampians Region. simvan.org.au. Excellence in motion.' Trees and a wooden pier are visible in the background under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds.
