Edenhope Murray to Moyne team in training for 2026

A group of nine cyclists are already clocking up the kilometres, in preparation for the 2026 Murray to Moyne event.

Although the big event is months away, Edenhope's team is working hard to secure sponsorship and donations, in order to raise money for Grampians Health Edenhope.

In October the team funded a suite of luxury recliners for the Edenhope acute ward, valued at more than $7,000.

This followed last year's $25,000 revamp of the Elsie Bennett Centre community gym, which now features two state of the art treadmills, two recumbent bikes and an upright bike.

Sponsors will be featured on a new guernsey, which the team will proudly wear over the next three-to-five years.

The 2026 team will fit fundraising efforts between training sessions, with hopes to fund more items on staff members' wish list of equipment and programs.

They are also on the look-out for new members, keen to join them in cycling 520 kilometres, over two days, next April.
