What you can expect
A pacemaker check is a non-invasive and painless test that requires no preparation. A referral from a medical provider is required, and it must state the brand of the device.
Referrals and access
- A referral from a GP or other medical provider is required, stating the brand of the device.
- Appointments are essential.
- Make a booking by calling 03 5320 4201. You can also fax your referral to 03 5320 4713 or email to diagnostic@gh.org.au. If using fax or email, you will be contacted with your appointment details.
- Patient name, date of birth, phone number, and address must be included on the referral.
This service is covered by Medicare, and is bulk billed with no additional fees charged.
