Telehealth appointments make it easier for you to access healthcare services through video calls with your clinician. 

What is Telehealth

Telehealth is the use of video-call between you and your clinician to conduct your appointment. 

Telehealth reduces travel time and cost for you, and removes the stress of travel. It provides greater accessibility to specialist services. 

Telehealth is available to Medicare card holders and consultations can be bulk-billed. 

To start your Telehealth call

Please start your video call 5-10 minutes before your appointment time. To test your video calling equipment, click on the box on the right.

To start your appointment: 

  1. Select the service from the dropdown list below. 
  2. Click on the relevant Telehealth Clinic waiting room button. 
  3. Enter your name and phone number when prompted. Click ‘Continue’ to enter the waiting area. 
  4. Clinician arrives and your consultation starts. 

Test your video calling equipment

Information for:  

  • Desktop computers 
  • Laptop computers 
  • Android tablets 
  • Smartphones 

The Video Call Setup test checks your web browser, the speed of your internet connection, and whether your microphone, speakers, and web camera are working as expected. Click the following button to run the test:

    What you need to make a Telehealth call

    Telehealth services are supported in the following web browsers:  

    • Google Chrome Version 72+ (Windows, Android, MacOS)  
    • Apple Safari Version 12+ (MacOS, iOS) 
    • Firefox Version 68+ (Windows, Android) 
    • Microsoft Edge Version 79+ (Windows, MacOS) 
    • Microsoft Edge Version 44+ (Android)
