Youth Prevention and Recovery Care (YPARC)
The Grampians Youth Prevention and Recovery Care (YPARC) Centre provides short-term residential treatment and support for people aged 16-25 with a mental health condition.
Who we care for
Our 10-bed residential setting in Newington offers two types of care:
- Step up: for young people who are experiencing a deterioration in their mental health and may benefit from additional support
- Step Down: for young people in the early stages of recovery following an acute episode that may benefit from additional support to consolidate gains made during inpatient care and support their transition back to the community
This service is available to eligible young people across the Grampians region. We support neurodiverse, LGBTQI+, ASTI or other young people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
